WORKFLOW
Cameras used for these images include a
Hasselblad FlexBody, Hasselblad X-Pan, and a Nikon with panorama panhead. Images are either
captured with a 16 megapixel digital back or with scanned, traditional film. Image adjustments
and printing are processed digitally using special software techniques to express a certain
feeling about the subject.
Scanning traditional negatives and making giclee prints allows far more control over every aspect
of creating an image. This is a huge improvement over the chemical darkroom process for the
photographer who cares about the subtle nuances in the final image.
These are original, giclee prints printed directly on paper using 100% pigment inks that produce
museum-grade print quality with high stability to give long lasting value. High-grade, 250 gram rag,
acid-free,
lignin-free paper is used for all prints.
Each limited edition print is signed, numbered and a protective UV coating applied before it
is mounted in a standard book mat with archival materials and neutral pH adhesives.
These giclee prints are guaranteed against any signs of image fading or discoloration for
a minimum of 100 years and up to 200 years when displayed indoors under UV glazing* and
away from direct sunlight. A certificate of authenticity is included with each print.
Our frames include non-glare,
Conservation "Acrylite"
glazing that filters out 98% of damaging UV light and is available in matte or clear.
